The Steel Fixture Painting Process
We have 12 standard colors for our products.
- True color samples can be mailed upon request.
- Custom colors are available.
CLEANING
Our cabinets are washed and iron phosphate coated at a temperature of 160° fahrenheit at 1,400 lbs. pressure to assure that all oils and dirt are removed.
SEALING
Next, a seal rinse is applied at the same temperature. All parts are placed in a heated oven to thoroughly dry before powdered paint coating is applied.
POWDERED PAINT FINISH
This painting technique is a non-reactive solvent free powder coating which is electrostatically applied at room temperature, then baked in an oven at 400° Fahrenheit until cured. It provides an excellent scratch resistant finish and will not off-gas anything known to be harmful to your specimens.
